This is a fujishot I got last week while out on a photowalk. I took it from atop a bridge that goes over these tracks... The trestle bridge pictured is not anywhere near as large as it looks, that's just an optical illusion from the camera angle. Actually the body of water is just a drainage ditch maybe waist deep. I edited this shot in snapseed which is a mobile photo editing app that I truly love! I'm enjoying my new photo ops in my new environs.
On Instagram there is a new group collaborative project taking shape called surrealedit42. It's an offshoot of the surreal42 hashtag group of artists, who are some of the most creative on Instagram! I've been involved with this group since their inception and this image is an example of our latest enterprise. This is one of my edits of a public image provided by a member of the group who goes by the IG username @mopi42. The object of the project is not a contest but just to allow creativity to flow by showing how many ways one image can be altered by an artistic editor who is skilled at using electronic editing apps. We are interested in promoting the digital arts and giving exposure to the talent that resides in Instagram communities like ours! If you are an iger, visit our tags #surreal42, #surrealedit42,#timewarp42, #abstracteyesat42, ect...see our creativity! Get inspired and join in the fun! Below is the unedited image and two more of my edits just to show the diversity that can be acchieved.
I posted this photo in bnw on my Instagram page the other day and I like that version! But I also really like this original color version as well so, here it is! It's good having multiple choices to share images!
Well instacanvas has finally released an iPhone app that would allow me to set up and manage a gallery, and sell my photos as wall canvases, greeting cards, tshirts , posters, iPhone cases,etc... I am strongly considering it! What I'd like to know is would anybody be interested in buying any of my photos as one or more of these products? So I'm putting up this sampler of some of my recent Instagrams and would appreciate any feedback on the subject! Leave a comment here or on my fb page or Instagram pages... Thank you! In the future I'll post more samplers... And let you know if I get a gallery set up.
Art, photos, articles, resources, gift ideas, and more!

The products I have designed are available for purchase through those print on demand sites and links are provided above. I also feature the work of other artists and from time to time I write about and share links to great resources for artists and designers.
