This stormcloud formed to the south of us Wednesday night. It was moving south so it was no threat to us, but I was glad to see it because it is so rare to see a Mothership cloud around here. Once I get my Fuji shots posted here you will see what I mean. I have alot of great shots of storms and stormclouds but they are the usual wall clouds or anvils or thunderheads. This is the first Mothership I've seen since... Well I don't think I've ever seen a real one around here, only in pictures and those were snapped in Texas or south Dakota. Now I do have some shots of distant storms while in the tornado stage and the whole supercell sort of resembles this cloud except it reaches the ground and at ground level it is churning and grinding.
