You know how when you leave a brightly room and enter a dark one how at first you can't see anything but gradually a little at a time your eyes get used to the dark and you can see, albeit not very clearly? Well, that is how being in this world is for a Christian who does not keep their eyes firmly fixed on the light of Christ found in His word.
"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." Psalms 119:105
When you keep your focus on Christ it is easy to distinguish between light and dark but if you stop looking at the light, and go into the darkness without your lamp, pretty soon your eyes and your heart start to get used to the dark and it doesn't seem that dark to you any more.
If you continue in the dark without your lamp you will lose your way and start to go down dark alleys and take wrong turns and listen to wrong directions from wrong voices and it will become harder and harder for you to even remember what the true light used to look and feel like.
That is when you will be vulnerable to the enemy who like a lion who walks about seeking whom he may devour. He is not really a lion he is really a subtle serpent, a crafty dragon who can and will transform himself into an angel of light and present himself as a preacher of righteousness.
He is after your worship and your eternal soul and he knows how to twist scripture better than anyone you have heard of. In fact his method hasn't changed since the beginning when he tempted Eve saying "Hath God said?" The modern day version of this sounds like "in the Greek what that really means is..."
That is why it is so important to stay with the true preserved word of God as He has kept it for us in the authorized 1611 KJV, The Holy Bible, the one that hasn't been tampered with and that came from the Textus Receptus. The only one that has been trusted for over 4 centuries.
Satan tried to keep it from being published back in 1605 with his Guy Fawkes Catholic gun powder plot to blow up the palace, the King and all the Kings men who worked for years of their lives to make sure it was accurate and approved by the Holy Ghost and the body of Christ.
In the 1880s Satan made another attack on it when his minions Westcott and Hort published their revision of the Greek and passed it off as the "majority text". There is so much involved in that story that I could never even scratch the surface in a blog post, so I refer you to other sources and highly recommend you to study it out. (see the Youtube vidoes embedded in the sidebar and visit https://av1611.com.)
Now thanks to those two false witnesses and their dark work there are a plethora of false bibles on the market in which thousands of words have been changed and entire verses and passages have been omitted. Not only that but they are newly revised every few years, constantly shifting away from the light into the darkness.
This is Satan's big plan, the one he announced long ago when he said "I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High." Isaiah 14:13
These corrupt bibles have been changed to dethrone Christ and removed His deity and to replace Him with a false Jesus who is not the same as the Jesus Christ of the KJV Bible.
I realize what I am telling you is radical and not popular but it is so important to your eternal destiny that you get it right and do not follow this new false shepherd as he is being constructed by these false bibles. So again my main goal and objective in this section of my blog site remains to challenge you to 1.) do your research on this subject and 2.) make a comparison of the AV1611 KJV version to any of the new versions with this in your mind...
in the KJV God said
"Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you." Deuteronomy 4:2
"For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book. And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book." Revelation 22:18-19
The KJV translators feared God and these commandments. They prayed and painstakingly poured over all the manuscripts and checked and checked again for seven years then put their work out for the believers to read and pray about and get the approval of the Holy Ghost. They worked in the light.
Westcott and Hort did their revised Greek version in the cover of darkness in secret meetings all the while corresponding with each other the need to rush it to publishing before they were labeled heretics. I recommend a book by Gail Ripplinger titled "New Age Versions" to give you the whole story on them and some very condemning excerpts from their own letters and biographies.
So I am back full circle to the subject of light and darkness.
Amos prophesied a coming day of thick darkness when there would be a famine, but not of food, a famine of the word of God. Friends that day is fast approaching. If we do not hang on to the Authorized 1611 KJV, if we abandon it in favor of these modern translations that are based on the corrupted Greek manuscripts, that day of darkness will be upon us.
"Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:" Amos 8:11
Let us not give up our heritage and sell our vineyard which is the Holy Bible that was brought to us by the blood of the martyrs and the faithful service of the translators. Even if we have to die trying we must cling to the preserved word not the revised word.
These new age versions are different from the KJV, and the Greek text they are taken from is different from the Greek the KJV was taken from.
These new versions do not agree with the KJV and in fact they do not even agree with each other. Their advocates will tell you they all say the same things in different ways.
But God said, "Can two walk together, except they be agreed?" Amos 3:3
When you see the differences for yourself remember this... Things that are different are not the same. A giraffe is different from an elephant and a tare is different from a stalk of wheat. They are not the same...
